The suspect is responsible for an armed bank robbery on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at approximately 9:57 a.m., at the Middlesex Federal Savings Bank at 1 College Ave., Somerville, Massachusetts, 02144.

The unknown robber walked into the Middlesex Federal Savings Bank at 1 College Ave., in Davis Square, Somerville, Massachusetts, and allegedly committed an armed robbery. The suspect wore a blue beanie, a dark glove on his left hand, and a hooded camouflage jacket featuring a Nike logo on the left side above his chest. He wore blue pants, black sneakers, and carried a black and red Under Armour backpack. The suspect entered the bank holding a Webley Revolver, Mark IV, fired one round into the ceiling and demanded money from the teller. After a uniformed Somerville police officer in the vicinity of Davis Square was alerted to a possible bank robbery in progress, the officer entered the bank and the suspect allegedly fired a round at the responding officer before fleeing the bank on foot.


The FBI is offering a monetary reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of this individual.
