  • Remarks: The suspect was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hat, a gray t-shirt with a circular design on the front, camouflage shorts, black socks, and black tennis shoes. The suspect was also observed as having "scruffy" white facial hair.
  • Weapon Used: Hoax bomb


On October 4, 2018, at approximately 3:31 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the Safeway grocery store located at 5035 West Baseline Road in Laveen Village, Arizona. Once inside, the suspect approached the US Bank branch teller counter. The suspect placed a device on the counter and stated that it was a bomb. The suspect demanded money and was provided a known amount of money from the victim teller. The suspect then fled from the scene. The device was found to be a hoax.
