DESCRIPTION

  • Height: 6'1" to 6'4"
  • Weight: Approximately 300 pounds
  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Black
  • Remarks: The suspect wore a light blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt jacket with “GAP” written across the jacket, and jeans.
  • Vehicle Information: The suspect fled to a dark black or gray Chevy Malibu that was parked in the adjacent Dillons grocery store parking lot. The Malibu model year is likely between 2010 to 2012.

CAUTION

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on September 29, 2018, an unknown male suspect entered the Kaw Valley Bank located at 6831 SW 29th Street in Topeka, Kansas. The unknown suspect covered his face with a nylon drawstring-style bag over his head. He made a verbal demand for cash and indicated he had a weapon, although none was displayed. The unknown suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Kaw Valley Bank Robbery.
