  • Remarks: The suspect was wearing a light-blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt jacket with “GAP” written across the jacket. He was wearing dark-colored pants, white tennis shoes, and a nylon draw-string style bag over his head covering his face.
  • Vehicle Information: The suspect fled to a dark black or blue Chevy Malibu with tinted windows and stock silver rims that was parked in the adjacent Dillons' grocery store parking lot.


At approximately 9:30 a.m., on September 29, 2018, the suspect entered the Kaw Valley Bank, 6831 SW 29th Street, Topeka, Kansas. The suspect entered the secure teller area, made a verbal demand for cash and threatened a weapon, although none was displayed. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency.


The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Kaw Valley Bank robbery.
