CAUTION

On April 26, 2017, an unknown black male subject entered the Citizens Bank and Trust located in the 1700 block of South Main Street, Farmville, Virginia, produced a weapon and demanded money from the victim teller. The subject is described as approximately 5'8", with curly black hair which may have been a wig. The subject wore a tan flannel lined long-sleeved work shirt over a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, grey gloves and dark sunglasses. Just prior to the robbery witnesses reported seeing a black male, with similar characteristics as this subject, toss several bottles onto a school building. Investigators identified the chemicals as possible fire accelerants often used when creating homemade improvised explosive devices. Investigators believe this subject used a Nissan Sentra (pictured above) while committing this crime; the vehicle had been stolen from the City of Richmond, Virginia, the day before and has since been recovered.
