DESCRIPTION

  • Remarks: The suspect wore a full-length black abaya or similar clothing which covered the suspect from head to ankles.

CAUTION

On February 10, 2017, at 12:54 pm, the Maryland Employees Credit Union (MECU) located at 312 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland, was robbed by a lone individual dressed in a black abaya or similar clothing which covered the subject from head to ankles.  The suspect approached the teller counter, presented a demand note announcing a robbery, but fled before obtaining any currency.  Approximately 1 hour later, the MECU located at 5910 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, Maryland, was robbed by the same person wearing the same clothing.  No loss was sustained in this robbery.  In both instances the subject was able to retain his/her demand note.

REWARD

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and indictment of the person who committed this crime.
