DESCRIPTION

  • Height: 5'7" to 5'8"
  • Weight: 150-160 pounds
  • Sex: Male
  • Build: Medium
  • Hair: Brown
  • Race: White
  • Remarks: The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, flip-up sunglasses and white tennis shoes. The suspect had a red bandana over his face and bandages or tape over his fingertips.
  • Weapon Used: The suspect displayed what appeared to be a silver handgun to one of the bank employees.

CAUTION

At approximately 10:45 a.m. on January 21, 2014, an unknown White male entered the Bank of Oklahoma branch at 7101 N.W. 23rd Street in Bethany, Oklahoma (inside Homeland Grocery), and approached the teller counter. The suspect verbally demanded money and flashed what is believed to be a silver handgun to one of the bank employees. The teller complied with the demand and provided the subject with an undisclosed amount of money. The subject departed eastbound on foot from the Homeland Grocery.

At approximately 2:22 p.m. on January 18, 2014, an unknown White male entered the Bank of Oklahoma branch (inside Homeland Grocery) at 7101 N.W. 23rd Street in Bethany, Oklahoma, and approached the teller counter. The suspect stated, “This is a robbery. I have a gun. Give me all your money.” The suspect threatened to harm the teller his instructions were not followed. The teller complied with the demand and provided the subject with an undisclosed amount of money. The subject placed the money in a plastic grocery bag and was last seen exiting the Homeland Grocery on foot.

REWARD

The Oklahoma Bankers Association, a non-governmental organization, is offering a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank. The FBI has no involvement in the administration of this reward or any of its governing terms or conditions.
