ARMED SERIAL BANK ROBBERS

DESCRIPTION

  • Weapon Used: The subjects have been armed with a compact black semi-automatic handgun.

CAUTION

These subjects are believed responsible for at least four armed bank robberies:

  • December 17, 2016 - Citizens Bank - 8616 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
  • December 17, 2016 - TD Bank - 5501 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia
  • December 23, 2016 - TD Bank - 2200 Garrett Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania
  • January 2, 2017 - TD Bank - 2267 East Butler Street, Philadelphia 

The first robbery on December 17 was carried out by Subject #1 only. Thereafter, both men have participated. They've displayed their weapon to tellers and demanded money; after obtaining undisclosed amounts of cash, they've fled on foot. 

Subject #1 is described as a Black male in his late 30s to early 40s, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” tall, heavyset build, medium complexion. For the most recent robbery, on January 2, he was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, black scarf or mask concealing the lower part of his face, black knit cap, and black pants.
 
Subject #2 is described as a Black male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’7” tall, slim to medium build, light complexion. For the most recent robbery, on January 2, he had on a light gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black scarf or mask concealing the lower part of his face, black gloves, and black pants.

(Similar clothing was worn during all four robberies.)

There is a reward for information leading to the capture of these subjects.
