UNKNOWN SERIAL BANK ROBBER

  • Weapon Used: The suspect used a black-and-silver semi-automatic handgun.

CAUTION

On September 23, 2016, at approximately 4:04 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the Deer Valley Credit Union located at 16215 N. 28 Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. He proceeded to the teller counter, displayed a handgun, pointed it at an employee, and demanded the “big bills.” The employee complied and the suspect fled the bank heading southbound.

In the September 23rd robbery, the suspect was described as wearing a black White Sox baseball hat, black sunglasses, a black long-sleeve shirt worn under a neon green short-sleeve shirt, dark pants, and carrying a black backpack.

 

On December 22, 2016, at approximately 12:47 p.m., the suspect entered the Landing Credit Union located at 4850 West Chandler Boulevard in Chandler, Arizona.  The suspect entered the bank armed with a semi-automatic handgun, and walked up behind a customer in line.  The suspect in a calm, low voice told the customer to not move and handed the teller a dark backpack.

In the December 22nd robbery, the suspect was described as having a beard and mustache. He wore a black hat, sunglasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, gloves, black shoes, and carried a dark backpack.


On February 7, 2017, at approximaltey 11:08 a.m., the suspect entered the Bank of America located at 198 N. Alma School Road in Chandler.  He proceeded to the teller counter where he contacted a customer and pointed his gun at him and directed him to not move.  The suspect placed his right arm over the customer’s right back/shoulder and handed the teller a small black backpack.  The suspect spoke very softly while the teller loaded money into the bag.  The suspect fled the bank and was not located.   

In the February 7th robbery, the suspect was described as wearing a dark baseball hat with small red emblem (possibly a Polo horse), round reflective sunglasses, black balaclava covering part of his fact, an orange traffic vest with white reflective vertical band, dark-colored sweatshirt, light-colored gloves, blue jeans, brown boots and was carrying a small black leather backpack.
