On Thursday, October 6, 2016, at approximately 3:20 p.m., an unknown male robbed the United Bank located at 17054 Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries, Virginia. The unknown male entered the bank, approached the counter, produced a silver handgun and pointed it at the victim teller and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the bank on foot and headed behind the bank away from Route 1.


The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.
