  • Age: 20 to 25 years old
  • Remarks: The subject was described as wearing a blue face mask, an orange Broncos ballcap, and a yellow and grey WMATA vest.

CAUTION

On Friday, September 16, 2016, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a male subject attempted to rob the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3200 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, in Washington, DC. The subject entered the bank and passed a note to the victim teller. The subject then fled the bank on foot and headed towards the 3100 block of Q Street SE.

REWARD

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this individual.

The FBI/MPD Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating this robbery and requests that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or MPD’s tip line at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the police department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
