  • Remarks: The subject was described as a Black male with a slim build. He was described as wearing a white t-shirt with the phrase “DCRBL – District Children Rooted By Literacy,” a khaki-colored bucket hat, sunglasses and carrying a small bag.


On Saturday, July 21, 2016, at approximately 10:55 a.m., a male subject robbed the PNC Bank located at 650 Pennsylvania Ave., S.E. in Washington, D.C. The subject entered the bank, approached the victim teller and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the bank on foot westbound on Pennsylvania Ave., S.E.


The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of this bank robber.

The FBI/MPD Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating this robbery and requests that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or MPD’s tip line at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the police department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
