  • Remarks: On May 23, 2016, she was described as wearing a black blazer, white shirt, and black pants, and was carrying a black backpack. On Friday, May 27, 2016, she was described as wearing a green dress, a black wig, sunglasses and was carrying a brown purse.

CAUTION

On May 23, 2016, at approximately 11:02 a.m., a female subject robbed the Bank of America located at 4301 49th Street NW in Washington, DC. The subject entered the bank, approached the victim teller, and demanded money verbally and via a note. The subject then fled the bank on foot.

 

UPDATE: On Friday, May 27, 2016, at approximately 11:30 a.m., an unknown female subject robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located 5201 MacArthur Blvd, NW in Washington, DC. The subject entered the bank, approached the victim teller, and demanded money via a note. The subject then fled the bank on foot and headed in the direction of Sibley Hospital.

REWARD

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.

The FBI/MPD Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating this robbery and requests that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or MPD’s tip line at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the police department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
