  • Remarks: The subject was described as wearing a black cap, a dark shirt, black pants, and a black jacket.


On February 16, 2016, at approximately 4:50 p.m., a Black male subject robbed the United Bank located at 1667 K Street NW in Washington, D.C.  The subject entered the bank, approached the victim teller, demanded money via a note, and made a verbal threat.   The subject then fled the bank on foot heading north.


The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of this bank robber.

The FBI/MPD Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating this robbery and requests that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or MPD’s tip line at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the police department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
