  • Weapon Used: Handgun


On January 15, 2016, at approximately 1:33 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the BBVA Compass Bank located at 12434 North Tatum Boulevard in Phoenix, Arizona. He approached the teller counter holding a brown grocery store bag that contained a handgun and demanded money from two tellers. One teller was on the phone, so the unknown suspect pointed the weapon at that teller and again demanded money. He was given currency and fled the bank (to the listed vehicle in the parking lot) and fled westbound.
