  • Remarks: The suspect was described as a Hispanic or Indian male with a mustache and a thick accent. He wore a black baseball hat with a unknown white logo, a grey hooded sweatshirt with a black stripe down both arms, black jeans, and black shoes with white stripes.


On February 15, 2013, at approximately 4:14 p.m., the suspect entered the Fry’s Grocery store located at 435 South Ellsworth Road in Mesa, Arizona, and preceded to the Bank of America branch inside. The suspect waited in the customer line until he was called to the teller counter. He verbally demanded money from the teller, who complied and gave the suspect a known quantity of US currency. The suspect was acting strangely as he exited the store. He approached a Fry’s employee who was standing outside and offered them money. The suspect talked to the employee for a few minutes, then knelt down on his knees and kissed the ground while encouraging the employee to do the same.
