  • Remarks: The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with short dark brown or black hair, a mustache, and unshaven. He was soft spoken in clear English with a noticeable Spanish accent and was wearing a white construction hard hat, prescription glasses, black bandana around his neck, tan long-sleeved shirt with yellow reflective traffic vest over it, a gold chain or watch on his right wrist, and blue jeans.


On September 19, 2013, at approximately 5:22 p.m., the suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 1025 West Queen Creek Road, Chandler, Arizona, and approached the teller counter. He asked if they would accept an American Express card which was folded in half so the teller could not see the name on the card. When told the bank did not accept the card, the subject told the teller this was a robbery. The subject repeatedly asked for more money and said he had a gun and gestured to his waist band. The teller gave the subject a known amount of US currency and he fled the area.
