DESCRIPTION

  • Age: late 20s to early 30s
  • Remarks: In the January 4, 2014, robbery, the suspect was described as a White male, 5’11” tall, weighing 160 pounds with a brown beard. He wore a black baseball hat with lettering starting with “CRO,” a grey hooded sweatshirt with the letters “SMU” (Southern Methodist University) and a picture of a mustang on the front, and blue-and-black motocross-style gloves. During the December 24, 2013, robbery, the suspect was described as a White male, late 20s to early 30s, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, weighing 160 pounds with a scruffy beard. He wore a dark-colored baseball hat with a “NY” logo on the front, a black-and-white checkered long sleeve shirt, a white undershirt, and black-and-white gloves.

CAUTION

On Saturday, January 4, 2014, at approximately 2:43 p.m., the suspect entered the Safeway grocery store located at 1159 West Chandler Boulevard in Chandler, Arizona, and proceeded to the US Bank branch inside. He approached the teller and presented a demand note, as well as verbally demanding that the teller give him money. The teller complied and gave the suspect a known quantity of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled the store through the west doors.

 

On December 24, 2013, at 1:19 p.m., the suspect entered the Safeway grocery store located at 4005 East Chandler Boulevard in Phoenix, Arizona, and filled a grocery cart with items. He then proceeded to the US Bank branch inside. He approached the victim teller and held up a demand note, verbally demanded money, and told the teller he had a weapon. The teller gave the suspect a known quantity of U.S. currency, and the suspect fled the store.
