  • Remarks: During the commission of most of the robberies, the suspect has worn dark-colored clothing and a hat (frequently a knit cap), and has carried a backpack or messenger-style bag. He wore a dust mask during the Walnut Grove robbery and wore wrap-around, sport-style sunglasses during the May 9, 2016, robberies in Weaverville and Durham. During the Arbuckle robbery, the suspect wore a black, long-sleeved shirt, brown pants, black shoes and a U.S. Air Force baseball cap with USAF on the back and black sunglasses. During the Woodside robbery, the suspect has light, reddish facial stubble and was earing a light colored beanie, black classes, a long-sleeved half-zip shirt, and dark pants. During the Groveland robbery, the suspect wore a grey and cream "ski cap," black glasses, khaki pants, a black, zip-front jacket, and he carried a tan backpack.

This suspect has robbed at least 13 banks in California since 2013.  Typically, the suspect has entered rural banks armed with a black handgun.  Upon approaching the teller, he has made a demand for money and, after receiving money, the suspect has fled the banks.


A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the "Khaki Bandit."
