Caution

On October 26, 2022, an unknown Black male subject, armed with a gun, entered the Truist Bank located in the 2200 block of Melrose Avenue, Northwest, in Roanoke, Virginia, and demanded money from the victim teller.  Once the teller complied with his demands, the subject placed the money into a light-blue drawstring bag and exited the bank on foot.

Investigators believe the same subject committed another robbery days later, on October 28, 2022, of the Truist Bank located in the 100 block of McClanahan Street, Southwest, in Roanoke.  During this robbery, the subject once again approached the victim teller, demanded money, and placed the money in a purple bag; before exiting the bank on foot.
